My favorite part of learning about different cultures is the food. I grew up in a Ukrainian-speaking home, and even though my family has become very Americanized, I would say we still hold on to quite a bit of the culture and traditions. We still speak the language, obviously, and Ukrainian food is a big part of my life. There is such a wide range of Ukrainian cuisine that I forget about some of them. I never had the full Ukrainian experience because I was born in America, unlike my older siblings, but I still have a pretty good grasp on the culture.
